Feb. 27, 2013 - Garden City, New York, U.S. - HARRISON H. SCHMITT, Apollo 17 Astronaut and former U.S. Senator, is honored with the Spirit of Discovery Award, at the 10th Annual Cradle of Aviation Museum Air & Space Gala, celebrating the 40th Anniversary of Apollo 17. A Grumman F11 (F-11) Tiger jet with "U.S. Navy" on its side is suspended from the three floor atrium lobby, and Sen. Schmitt is at the table to left of stage, where ANDREW PARTON, the Executive Director of the museum, is speaking. 180 degree fish eye lens view from above.
