Also speaking was Bowles (not shown), his fellow co-chairman of the National Commission on Fiscal Responsibility and Reform and co-leader of the Simpson-Bowles non-partisan U.S. fiscal debt reduction plan. This was part of "Debate 2012 Pride Politics and Policy" a series of events leading up to when Hofstra hosts the 2nd Presidential Debate between Obama and M. Romney, the next night, October 16, 2012, in a Town Meeting format.
