Bellmore, New York, USA. July 21, 2016. The19th Annual Long Island International Film Expo Awards Ceremony, LIIFE 2016, is held at the historic Bellmore Movies. Actor KEVIN BROWN (Dot Com in 30 Rock) once again was host. Singers ROBBIE ROSEN, of American Idol, and SARAH BARRIOS performed "Chains". Actress CATHY MORIARITY (Vikki LaMotta in Raging Bull) introduced honoree ED ASNER (TV's Lou Grant) who received the Lifetime Achievement Award. SAL RENDINO (The Get Down, Billions) received the Rising Star Award; ANGELA ANTON, of Anton News, received the Humanitarian Award. Three of LIIFE's co-founders spoke: Nassau County Film Commissioner DEBRA MARKOWITZ, HENRY STAMPFEL and ANNE STAMPFEL, owners of the Bellmore Movies. LIIFE was called one of the 25 Coolest Film Festivals in the World by MovieMaker Magazine.
