Man is handing the mallet used for the High Striker strongman game to a carnival worker, during the first night of the annual Herricks Community Fund Spring Carnival. The goal of the strength tester is to hit a lever hard enough to send a puck high to ring bell at top of tower. The Long Island carnival, which raises funds for programs that enrich the community and school district, runs through June 2.
