L-R. GUS PREISER, 87, of Levittown, and former NASA Apollo astronaut FRED HAISE are at a Summer of '69 Celebration Event held at the Long Island Cradle of Aviation Museum, on the 45th Anniversary of NASA Apollo 11 LEM landing on the moon July 20, 1969. Preiser worked on the footpad of the LEM Lunar Excursion Module. Haise, the lunar module pilot for Apollo 13 mission, was in the LEM Room during the reunion of former Northrop Grumman Aerospace Corporation employees. Behind them is Lunar Module LM-13 intended for Apollo 18 mission to Copernicus Crater in 1973, which was canceled.
