Old Westbury, New York, U.S. June 24, 2022. 'A Reason to Smile' (bronze, 2004) - a woman sitting in a chair; a wry take on the painting “Mona Lisa” by Leonardo Da Vinci - is on view at 'Re-Visiting the Familiar: Seward Johnson at the Gardens' sculpture exhibition at historic Old Westbury Gardens, on the Gold Coast of Long Island. The woman’s dark outfit is in style of early 16th century, except for off-white tall boots seen from below skirt hiked to knees. The OWG exhibit, featuring 35 individual pieces, runs from June 18 through September 5, 2022.
