Garden City, New York, USA. 3rd Novebmer 2015. Democrat MADELINE SINGAS claims victory over Republican Kate Murray in the hotly contested race for Nassau County District Attorney. JAY JACOBS (at far right), the Chairman of the Nassau County Democratic Party, and Singas's family joined her on stage. Singas, the Acting District Attorney, took the podium at the Nassau County Democrats Election Night Party at the Garden City Hotel, to thank her supporters, when, with more than 99% of the precincts results in, she was comfortably leading Murray, who's Hempstead Town Supervisor.
