Seaford, New York, USA. 3rd June 2015. New York State Governor ANDREW CUOMO speaks at an event in support of extending the NY Property Tax Cap. At the bi-partisan event at Knights of Columbus Hall, over a hundred area residents and officials urged an extension of the property tax cap before the state legislative session ends on June 17. The NY Property Tax Cap is set to expire June 2016, but is legally linked to NYC rent-control regulations set to expire this month. In June 2011 in Nassau County, the governor signed the first property tax cap law. Podium has The Great Seal of New York and sign with message: Keep the Cap, Property Tax Relief for Families and Businesses.
