Dec. 12, 2012 - Garden City, New York, U.S. - LINDA SUSMAN, of Merrick, a member of the Merrick Kiwanis Club, a community service group, gift wraps presents at Roosevelt Field mall in Long Island to help raise funds to use for charity, during the busy winter holiday shopping season. She and CAROLE METZGER of Plainview, behind her, were among members of Meadowbrook Women's Initiative helping at the booth. Some ways Kiwanis helps the community are by providing food, clothing, and school supplies to those in need, sending children to Kamp Kiwanis, providing scholarships and hosting a Harvest Ball for senior citizens.
