L-R, former NASA Apollo astronaut WALTER CUNNINGHAM and teen visitor CHRISTINA KENNEDY, of Kings Park, are at a Summer of '69 Celebration Event held at the Long Island Cradle of Aviation Museum, on the 45th Anniversary of NASA Apollo 11 LEM, Lunar Excursion Module, landing on the moon July 20, 1969. Two generations of Kennedy's family, William Pfeiffer and Richard Pfeiffer, worked on the LEM. Cunningham, who was the lunar module pilot for the Apollo 7 mission, was in the LEM Room during the reunion of former Northrop Grumman Aerospace Corporation employees. Behind them is Lunar Module LM-13 intended for Apollo 18 mission to Copernicus Crater in 1973, which was canceled.
